FR – Chikako Hosoda (violon)
Diplômée de la Toho Gakuen School of Music, Chikako Hosoda poursuit ses études au Conservatoire royal de Liège, où elle obtient son diplôme de master avec la plus grande distinction accordée à l’unanimité par le jury. Elle étudie le violon avec Koichiro Harada et Hamao Fujiwara au Japon, puis avec Philippe Koch et Boris Belkin en Europe. Elle se perfectionne également en musique de chambre auprès de maîtres de renommée internationale tels que Gábor Takács-Nagy, Alfred Brendel et le Quatuor Jerusalem.
Basée à Bruxelles, elle mène une carrière internationale de chambriste qui l’a amenée à se produire dans plus de vingt pays. Elle participe à de prestigieux festivals tels que La Folle Journée (France), Ars Musica (Belgique), le Verbier Festival (Suisse) et le Festival d’Aix-en-Provence. Son vaste répertoire s’étend de la musique classique à la création contemporaine, domaine dans lequel elle a interprété les œuvres de plus de cent compositeurs.
Lauréate de nombreuses récompenses, elle a notamment reçu le Prix d’excellence du Verbier Festival ainsi que le Prix d’excellence de l’Union des compositeurs belges. Son enregistrement de l’Intégrale des Quatuors à cordes, Vol. 1 d’Henri Marteau a été salué par la critique et récompensé de 5 Diapasons par le magazine français Diapason.
Particulièrement engagée dans les projets interdisciplinaires, elle s’est produite comme violoniste et performeuse aux côtés de danseurs français et italiens dans le spectacle Boussole. Passionnée par le développement local et la médiation culturelle et éducative, elle collabore depuis près de dix ans avec le Festival d’Aix-en-Provence, participant à divers projets, concerts et ateliers s’adressant à un public de tous âges, des enfants aux aînés.

桐朋学園大学ディプロマコース卒業後、ベルギーのリエージュ王立音楽院修士課程を満場一致の最優秀賞（la plus grande distinction）を得て修了。ヴァイオリンを原田幸一郎、藤原浜雄、フィリップ・コッシュ、ボリス・ベルキンの各氏に師事したほか、ガボール・タカーチ＝ナジ、アルフレート・ブレンデル、エルサレム四重奏団ら世界的名手のもとで室内楽の研鑽を積む。
現在はブリュッセルを拠点に、室内楽奏者として世界各地で活動を展開。「ラ・フォル・ジュルネ」（フランス）、「アルス・ムジカ」（ベルギー）、「ヴェルビエ音楽祭」（スイス）、「エクス＝アン＝プロヴァンス音楽祭」をはじめとする国際的な音楽祭に出演し、これまでに20カ国以上で演奏を行っている。古典から現代音楽までレパートリーは幅広く、現代作品においては100人を超える作曲家の楽曲を手がけてきた。
ヴェルビエ音楽祭優秀賞、ベルギー作曲家同盟優秀賞など受賞多数。録音では、アンリ・マルトーの『弦楽四重奏曲全集 第1集』がフランスの「ディアパソン（Diapason）」誌で最高評価の5つ星を獲得し、高い評価を得る。
また、分野を越えたプロジェクトにも精力的に取り組み、舞台作品『Boussole』ではヴァイオリニスト兼パフォーマーとしてフランスやイタリアのダンサーと共演。地域振興や文化・教育振興にも情熱を注いでおり、フランスのエクス＝アン＝プロヴァンス音楽祭では約10年にわたり、子どもからシニアまで幅広い世代を巻き込んだ演奏会やワークショップなど多彩な企画に参加している。
2015年から2021年までブリュッセル王立音楽院ヴァイオリン科にて後進の指導にあたる。ZENNEカルテットの活動に加え、ピアノとのデュオ、2022年の大曽根浩徳氏によるヴァイオリン協奏曲の世界初演でソリストを務めるなど多岐にわたり活躍。2025年には在カザフスタン日本国大使館の招聘によりアスタナの大統領府センターにてソロリサイタルを開催、2026年にはマルセイユのスーパーソニック・フェスティバルにソロで招聘されるなど、国際的な舞台で多彩な演奏活動を展開している。

After graduating from the Toho Gakuen School of Music, Chikako Hosoda completed her master’s degree at the Royal Conservatory of Liège with the highest distinction (la plus grande distinction), awarded unanimously by the jury. She studied violin with Koichiro Harada and Hamao Fujiwara in Japan, and later with Philippe Koch and Boris Belkin in Europe. She also honed her chamber music skills under the guidance of world-renowned musicians, including Gábor Takács-Nagy, Alfred Brendel, and the Jerusalem Quartet.
Currently based in Brussels, she performs internationally as a chamber musician and has appeared in over twenty countries. She has been featured at prominent festivals such as La Folle Journée (France), Ars Musica (Belgium), the Verbier Festival (Switzerland), and the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence. Her extensive repertoire spans from classical to contemporary music, having performed the works of more than one hundred contemporary composers.
She is the recipient of numerous awards, including the Prize of Excellence at the Verbier Festival and the Prize of Excellence from the Union of Belgian Composers. Her recording of Henri Marteau’s Complete String Quartets, Vol. 1 received critical acclaim, earning a 5-star rating from the French magazine Diapason.
Actively engaged in interdisciplinary projects, she performed as both violinist and stage performer alongside French and Italian dancers in the production Boussole. She is also deeply committed to community engagement and cultural education; for nearly a decade, she has participated in various initiatives, concerts, and workshops for audiences of all generations—from children to seniors—at the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence.
From 2015 to 2021, she taught violin at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. In addition to her performances with the ZENNE Quartet, she performs widely in violin-piano duos and as a soloist, including the 2022 world premiere of Hironori Ozone’s violin concerto. Recent highlights include a solo recital at the Presidential Center in Astana in 2025 at the invitation of the Embassy of Japan in Kazakhstan, and a solo appearance at the Supersonic Festival in Marseille in 2026, as she continues to expand her dynamic international concert career.

Na haar afstuderen aan de Toho Gakuen School of Music voltooide Chikako Hosoda haar masteropleiding aan het Koninklijk Conservatorium van Luik met de hoogste onderscheiding, unaniem toegekend door de jury. Ze studeerde viool bij Koichiro Harada en Hamao Fujiwara in Japan, en vervolgens bij Philippe Koch en Boris Belkin in Europa. Daarnaast vervolmaakte zij zich in de kamermuziek onder leiding van internationaal gerenommeerde musici zoals Gábor Takács-Nagy, Alfred Brendel en het Jerusalem Quartet.
Gevestigd in Brussel bouwt zij aan een internationale carrière als kamermusicus en trad zij op in meer dan twintig landen. Met een bijzondere passie voor interdisciplinaire projecten trad zij als violiste en performer op met Franse en Italiaanse dansers in de voorstelling Boussole. Daarnaast zet zij zich actief in voor cultuureducatie en maatschappelijke betrokkenheid; zo neemt zij al bijna tien jaar deel aan uiteenlopende initiatieven, concerten en workshops voor alle generaties—van kinderen tot senioren—op het Festival d’Aix-en-Provence.
Van 2015 tot 2021 was zij als viooldocente verbonden aan het Koninklijk Conservatorium van Brussel. Naast haar activiteiten met het ZENNE Quartet treedt zij regelmatig op in duo met piano en als soliste, waarbij zij in 2022 de wereldpremière van het vioolconcerto van Hironori Ozone verzorgde.
