FR – Violoniste japonaise, Chikako Hosoda étudie à l’Université de Musique de Toho Gakuen, avec Hamao Fujiwara et Koichiro Harada, 1er violon de l’illustre Quatuor de Tokyo. Elle est la première étudiante au Japon à poursuivre en parallèle des études d’Arts Comparés Européens à la Faculté des Lettres de l’Université Seikei.
A la suite d’un concert de Philippe Koch en quatuor, Chikako éprouve une véritable révélation et décide de se perfectionner avec lui au Conservatoire Royal de Liège en Belgique. Diplômée avec grande distinction en violon et musique de chambre, elle poursuit sa formation en recevant les précieux conseils de grands interprètes tels que G.Takacs, Alfred Brendel, les membres du Jerusalem Quartet.
Chambriste passionnée, elle intègre le Quatuor Tana en 2010, donne de nombreux concerts dans le monde entier, participe à des festivals tels que La Folle Journée de Nantes, Ars Musica, le Festival de Verbier et celui d’Aix-en-Provence. Courant 2014, Chikako Hosoda s’éloigne du Quatuor Tana pour de nouvelles aventures musicales. Elle collabore avec les Quatuors Isasi, Amon, Malibran et Alfama, avant de co-fonder le Zenne Quartet en 2019.
Parallèlement à son activité d’interprète, Chikako Hosoda est une musicienne engagée dans divers projets à la fois sociaux et artistiques du Festival d’Aix-en-Provence, faisant découvrir la musique à un public différent, créant la rencontre entre générations et cultures très contrastées.
Depuis 2015, elle enseigne le violon au Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles.

桐朋学園大学ディプロマ修了。ベルギー・リエージュ王立音楽大学大学院を首席で卒業。
国内においては原田幸一郎氏・藤原浜雄氏に師事。欧州においては、ヴァイオリンをPhilippe
Koch氏・Boris Belkin氏等に師。室内楽をG. Takacs氏・Alfred Brendel氏やエルサレムカルテッ
ト等に師事。
ベルギーを拠点に室内楽奏者としてラ・フォルジュルネ(フランス)、アルスムジカ現代音楽祭(ベ
ルギー)ヴェルビエ(スイス)音楽祭等、欧州、中南米を含む海外20カ国以上で古典から現代曲ま
で幅広いジャンルの演奏活動を行う。
現代曲においては、これまでに100名以上の作曲家の楽曲を演奏。
ヴェルビエ音楽祭(スイス)優秀賞、ベルギー作曲家ユニオン優秀賞、等を受賞。
出版したCDの中では、「Complete Works for String Quartet I (Henri MARTEAU)」が仏音楽誌
Diapasonで5つ星の評価を得る。
その他にも、他ジャンルとのコラボレーションに積極的に取組み、フランス・イタリアにおいて
“Boussole(羅針盤)”という名のダンサー二人とヴァイオリニスト一人の舞台に演奏者及び演者と
して出演。
また、地域振興、文化・教育振興にも情熱を注ぎ、フランスの国際音楽祭“Festival
d’Aix-en-Provence”では約10年に渡り、地域の子どもからシニアまで幅広い世代を巻き込んだ演
奏会・ワークショップ、等様々な企画に参加。
指導者としては2015年よりブリュッセル王立音楽大学ヴァオリン科で専任教員を務める。
EN – Japanese violinist, Chikako Hosoda studied at the Toho Gakuen University of Music with Hamao Fujiwara and with Koichiro Harada, 1st violin of the illustrious Tokyo Quartet. She is the first student in Japan to combine these musical studies with studies in Comparative European Arts at the Faculty of Letters of Seikei University.
Assisting to a concert by Philippe Koch in quartet, Chikako felt a real revelation and decided to become his student at the Royal Conservatory of Liège in Belgium. Graduating with great distinction in violin and chamber music, she continued her training by receiving precious advice from great performers such as G. Takacs, Alfred Brendel, members of the Jerusalem Quartet.
A passionate chamber musician, she joined the Tana Quartet in 2010, gave numerous concerts all over the world, and took part in festivals such as La Folle Journée de Nantes, Ars Musica, the Festivals of Verbier and Aix-en-Provence. In 2014, Chikako Hosoda left the Tana Quartet for new musical adventures. She has worked with the Isasi- , Amon-, Alfama- and Malibran Quartets since, before co-founding the Zenne Quartet in 2019.
Along with her activity as a performer, Chikako Hosoda is a musician involved in various social and artistic projects of the Aix-en-Provence Festival, introducing music to a different audience, reducing the distance between contrasting generations and cultures.
Since 2015, she teaches violin at the Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles.

Ze is de eerste studente in Japan die gelijktijdig aan de Faculteit der Letteren van de Seikei University een studie in Comparative European Arts volgde.
Een concert met Philippe Koch als lid van een strijkkwartet, voelde voor Chikako als een heuse openbaring. Zij besloot om bij hem in de lering te gaan aan het Koninklijk Conservatorium van Luik, waar ze afstudeerde met grote onderscheiding in viool en kamermuziek. Ze vervolmaakte haar vorming verder met kostbaar advies van grote artiesten zoals G. Takacs, Alfred Brendel, en leden van het Jerusalem Quartet.
Als gepassioneerd kamermusicus trad ze in 2010 toe tot het Tana Quartet, gaf ze tal van concerten over de hele wereld, nam ze deel aan festivals zoals La Folle Journée de Nantes, Ars Musica, de Festivals van Verbier en van Aix-en-Provence. In 2014 verliet Chikako Hosoda het Tana Quartet voor nieuwe muzikale avonturen. Ze werkte samen met verschillende strijkkwartetten (Isasi, Amon, Malibran, Alfama) alvorens in 2019 mee aan de basis te liggen van het Zenne Quartet.
Naast haar activiteiten als uitvoerend musicus, is Chikako Hosoda betrokken bij verschillende sociale en artistieke projecten van het Aix-en-Provence Festival, waarbij ze muziek introduceert bij een ander publiek en de ontmoeting tussen contrasterende generaties en culturen creëert.
